About Mrs. Jensen
Nicole Jensen is an excited and enthusiastic lifelong teacher and learner. Originally from California’s Central Valley, she shadowed her dad, a 5th grade teacher, for years until she went off to college at California State University, Fresno. While in Fresno, Nicole studied Early Childhood Development, American Sign Language and Music, earning her bachelor’s degree in child development. While earning that degree Nicole taught pre-school. In 2004, she married her high school sweetheart, Scott, and had two daughters. She has since had two more daughters equaling 4 busy, beautiful, children who range in age from High School, all the way down to the caboose, who is 3! Nicole has been a stay at home mom for many of her years until her family moved from California to Utah in 2018! Last year, while two of Nicole’s daughters attend WPA, she was a T.A. and long-term sub, for 3rd grade. This year Nicole has decided to take on 6th grade Social Studies and Science while also continuing her education and earning her Masters. She will continue to be an aid in 3rd grade in the mornings. Nicole looks forwards to bringing her experiences into the classroom and getting to know each of her students!
